Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data the Gold Desk app and the Outcry Technologies website collect, why, and what you can do about it. The app is provided by Outcry Technologies, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at info@outcrytechnologies.xyz.
Outcry Technologies licenses the app to trading groups. If you use it as a member of a group, that group also has access to your account and trading activity in the app, as described below.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, your name if you give one, and your password. We store only a one-way hash of your password, never the password itself.
- Broker connection details: the login, server and password or access token for any broker account you connect (for example MT5 or OANDA). These are stored encrypted and used only to place and manage trades on that account for you.
- Trading activity and settings: the orders, positions and results on your connected accounts, your copy-trading, risk and notification settings, price alerts and any trade journal entries you write.
- Device details for notifications: if you allow notifications, your device's push notification token, so we can send you trade and message alerts.
- Basic technical logs: our servers record requests (such as time and IP address) to keep the service running and secure.
Face ID is handled entirely by your device. We never receive your face or fingerprint data.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal data.
- We don't show ads, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- We don't hold your money. Trades are placed on your own broker account.
How we use it
- To run your account and sign you in.
- To copy and manage trades on the broker accounts you connect, using the settings you choose.
- To send you the notifications you've turned on and, when you ask, password reset emails.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and answer your support requests.
Who can see it
- Your trading group: the admins of the group that gave you access can see your account, connected accounts and trading activity, and can manage your account and risk settings.
- Your broker: receives the orders placed on your account.
- Service providers we use to run the app: Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage) and Apple (push notifications). They process data only to provide those services to us.
- Authorities: if the law requires us to share it.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete account), or by emailing us from the address you sign in with. Deleting your account removes your account, your connected broker details and the trading data and settings linked to it. Records we must keep by law, and server logs, are kept only as long as needed.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask a question about how we use it, by emailing info@outcrytechnologies.xyz.
Children
The app is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
